The Masulita Charity Activation

Part 1 of our Activation Charity: “ONE LOVE BOXING CLUB” — a community outreach rooted in service, cleaning, and giving back in Masulita.

Our journey to Masulita was more than just a trip — it was a journey of purpose, giving, and making a difference.

We started the day with general cleaning, coming together as a team to clean and improve the surroundings. It reminded us that charity is not always about what we give financially; sometimes, it’s about giving our time, energy, skills, and willingness to serve.

From the first sweep to every activity that followed, the spirit was about community, unity, and giving back. We came to Masulita with one goal — to leave a positive impact and put smiles on people's faces.

This is what OUT-DOOR GRIT & GRASS is all about: taking fitness beyond the gym, connecting with communities, and using what we have to make a difference.

After starting the day with general cleaning, it was time for the kids to recharge. We shared breakfast together, creating a beautiful moment of togetherness, laughter, and connection. With their energy restored, the kids got back to what they love most — BOXING.

They started with some exciting boxing pad work, putting their skills, speed, coordination, and discipline to the test. It was amazing to see their focus and determination.

The day then continued with boxing matches among the kids, giving them an opportunity to showcase what they had learned while encouraging one another and building confidence.

After a day filled with cleaning, sharing a meal, and witnessing the amazing boxing talent at the Children’s Boxing Club Masulita, we came to the most meaningful part of our journey — giving back.

We had the opportunity to distribute commodities to the people of Masulita and the children of the Boxing Club, sharing not just what we had collected, but also a message of love, hope, and community.

Seeing the smiles on the faces of the children and families reminded us that sometimes, a small contribution can make a big difference. This was never just about the items we gave; it was about showing the community that they are seen, valued, and supported.

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing sponsors who made this initiative possible: MR PRICE UGANDA, Bashm Gym, Lions Club of Kampala New Century, and Tuff Dry Cleaners.

Your generosity, support, and belief in the vision made it possible for us to reach Masulita and make a meaningful impact. We truly appreciate you.

The journey to Masulita was not only about fitness, boxing, and giving out commodities. We also wanted to invest in something that can shape the children’s future — EDUCATION.

As part of the charity initiative, we had the privilege of giving books to the children of the Masulita Children’s Boxing Club, encouraging them to develop a strong reading culture alongside their passion for boxing.

A special THANK YOU goes to the Lions Club of Kampala New Century for generously donating the books and supporting our vision of empowering these young children not only physically, but also mentally and academically.

Strong bodies. Sharp minds. Big dreams.

Thank you, Lions Club of Kampala New Century, for helping us promote a culture of reading and learning in Masulita. Together, we are building champions for life.

This is what OUT-DOOR GRIT & GRASS stands for — taking fitness beyond the gym, bringing people together, supporting communities, and using our platform to create positive change.

Part 1, 2, 3 & 4 of our Activation Charity

Part 1 of our Activation Charity: “ONE LOVE BOXING CLUB” began with cleaning, service, and practical community care. It reminded everyone that meaningful charity is not only measured in money, but in time, effort, and presence.

After the cleaning, the children were given breakfast and a chance to refuel. That moment of rest, nourishment, and laughter became part of the experience itself, showing how charity also creates joy, connection, and belonging.

Then came the boxing session. The kids moved into pad work with focus and discipline, developing skills in speed, coordination, and control. The boxing matches that followed allowed them to showcase confidence, teamwork, and respect for one another.

Part 3 was the giving moment. We distributed commodities and shared love, hope, and encouragement with the community, reinforcing that charity is also about presence, dignity, and care.

Part 4 focused on education. By donating books to the children of the Masulita Children’s Boxing Club, we invested in their minds as well as their bodies — creating champions for life, not only in sport but in learning and leadership.

The support from our sponsors played a crucial role in making this outreach possible. Their generosity helped turn a vision into a real, lasting impact for the people of Masulita.

The Masulita journey was a reminder that charity can be practical, joyful, and empowering all at once. From cleaning to boxing to giving, every step served a purpose.

It was not only about giving the children an opportunity to train; it was about giving them confidence, unity, and a sense that they are seen and supported.

“We came to Masulita with one goal — to leave a positive impact and put smiles on people's faces.”
